Weight: 1275 grams Locality: Sandomierz, Poland This freeform has a full polish on one side but has been left unpolished on the back. Polish Flint is known for its incredibly beautiful banding. It forms in concretions, or large nodules, in Jurassic limestone from about 160 million years ago. During the Neolithic Period, about 5000-3500 years ago, flint was used for the production of axes, arrowheads, knives, and other tools.
