Bows are often full of symbolism, depending upon how they are worn. They were often worn on a velvet ribbon as a choker, or close to the heart (often symbolizing that the wearer is deep in love). This brooch is a great example of the style, and quintessentially Victorian in style and form. The brooch is studded with chunky and rustic old cut diamonds, all glittering softly with each movement.
