4BROS Holster Wedge

4Bros Holster Wedge for Improved Concealment and Carry Comfort The 4Bros Holster Wedge is a compression-formed concealed carry accessory designed to improve comfort and reduce firearm printing with an IWB (Inside Waistband) holster. Positioned between the holster and your body, the wedge applies gentle leverage near the muzzle to rotate the firearm grip closer to your natural contours for a more discreet carry profile. Unlike improvised foam solutions, the 4Bros Holster Wedge provides a consistent shape, durable construction, adjustable placement, and a skin-friendly medical-grade exterior designed specifically for everyday concealed carry. It is compatible with most Kydex IWB holsters, including our IWB concealed carry holsters, RaceCar Appendix Rig Holsters, and DadBod Holsters for bigger builds. How the Holster Wedge Improves Concealment A holster wedge changes the angle of the holster by creating space between the lower portion of the holster and the body. This pushes the muzzle slightly outward while rotating the firearm grip inward. Because the grip is often the most visible part of a concealed handgun, bringing it closer to the body can help reduce printing beneath everyday clothing. Purpose-Built from a Proven DIY Concealed Carry Idea Before purpose-built holster wedges were widely available, concealed carriers often trimmed foam shoe insoles or heel cushions and attached them to their holsters to improve comfort and concealment. The 4Bros Holster Wedge builds on that proven concept with a product engineered specifically for concealed carry. Its compression-formed construction provides a consistent profile, improved durability, and simple hook-and-loop adjustment without the cutting, shaping, and trial-and-error required by homemade holster wedge substitutes. Textured Surface for Airflow and Moisture Management Comfort involves more than cushioning. The surface of the 4Bros Holster Wedge includes subtle molded ridges and a recessed 4Bros logo that create small air spaces between the wedge and the body. These textured areas allow limited air movement across the contact surface, helping reduce trapped heat and moisture accumulation during extended wear. While no holster accessory can eliminate perspiration, the textured surface encourages airflow and evaporation compared with a completely flat foam surface. This design supports a drier, more comfortable carry experience while keeping the wedge stable against the body. Holster Wedge Features Improved concealment: Rotates the firearm grip closer to the body to help minimize visible printing. Enhanced carry comfort: Cushions the holster and helps reduce concentrated pressure points during extended wear. Textured airflow surface: Molded ridges and the recessed 4Bros logo create small air channels that help limit heat and moisture buildup. Compression-formed construction: Maintains a more consistent shape and provides greater durability than improvised foam inserts. Adjustable positioning: The hook-and-loop attachment allows the wedge to be moved vertically, horizontally, or at an angle to suit your body shape. Broad IWB compatibility: Attaches to most Kydex Inside Waistband holsters with sufficient mounting space on the body side. Skin-friendly exterior: Provides a comfortable contact surface for everyday concealed carry. What's Included One compression-formed 4Bros Holster Wedge One 2.75-inch by 4-inch strip of loop fastener material Holster Wedge Installation Instructions Before installation, confirm that the firearm is unloaded and completely removed from the holster. Do not install or adjust the wedge while a firearm is inside the holster. Clean the body-facing side of the holster with mild detergent or an alcohol wipe to remove dirt, oil, and debris. Allow the holster surface to dry completely before applying the fastener material. Apply the soft loop side of the included fastener strip to the area where the wedge will be positioned. Press the hook surface of the wedge firmly against the loop material. Adjust the wedge height, angle, and side-to-side position to match your body shape and preferred carry position. Press the wedge and holster together firmly to secure the attachment before use. The wedge does not need to be mounted perfectly vertical. Angling or offsetting it may provide better grip rotation, pressure distribution, or comfort depending on your body type, firearm, holster, and carry position. Frequently Asked Questions What does a holster wedge do? A holster wedge creates leverage near the muzzle end of an IWB holster, rotating the firearm grip closer to the body. This can reduce printing and improve pressure distribution during concealed carry. Will the 4Bros Holster Wedge fit my holster? The wedge is compatible with most Kydex IWB holsters that provide enough flat mounting space for the included hook-and-loop material. It is designed to work with 4Bros IWB Holsters, RaceCar Appendix Rig Holsters, and DadBod Holsters. Can the wedge be repositioned? Yes. The removable hook-and-loop attachment allows you to adjust the wedge height, angle, and horizontal position until you find the most effective fit for your body and carry setup. Does the holster wedge help reduce sweat? The molded ridges and recessed 4Bros logo create small air spaces between the wedge and the body. These areas encourage limited airflow and evaporation, which can help reduce trapped moisture and improve comfort during extended wear. Is the wedge only for appendix carry? No. Although holster wedges are commonly used for appendix carry, they may also improve comfort and concealment in other Inside Waistband carry positions. Results depend on holster design, firearm size, body shape, and placement. How is this different from a cut foam shoe insert? A trimmed shoe insert is an improvised solution that may require repeated cutting and shaping. The 4Bros Holster Wedge is purpose-built for concealed carry with a consistent compression-formed profile, a textured airflow surface, and an adjustable attachment system. Does the wedge need to be mounted straight? No. The wedge can be mounted vertically, offset to one side, or positioned at a slight angle. Experimenting with placement can help improve comfort, grip rotation, and concealment for your individual body shape.
