A show stopping large lapis figural depicting 6 corn maidens, with well defined incised corn rows and inlaid faces of pink mussel shell, mother-of-pearl, turquoise* and abalone! Carved by Kateri Sanchez; there are 2 of the latest additions; horned owls with mother-of-pearl and jet inlaid eyes. We are so lucky to have her deliver this carving in early January of 2017. Kateri chose a big stone that is a beautiful cobalt blue with lovely swirls of white veins, then created a composition where the 5 incised corn maidens could fly and swirl around the piece. This is the piece to buy if you are a lover of innovative maiden figurals carved from an outstanding stone; Woo Hoo! Artist: Kateri Sanchez (signed) Size: 3-1/4 in. long x 1-7/8 in. wide x 6-1/4 in. tall #48519 - Zuni Fetishes
