Green Snail Shell Maidens by Stuart Quandelacy, Deceased - Zuni Fetish

A fantastic green snail shell maiden figural by Stuart Quandelacy; picked up on our last trip to Zuni! There are faces carved on both sides of the swirling shell near the top with the outer maiden facing Heaven; both have jet inlaid features and the same for the incised dragonflies. There is an olla/water jar filled with turquoise*chips/water and corn incised around the outer spiral near the base with pipestone, turquoise* and shell dots in all the right places; quite lovely and meeting Stuart was another lovely occurrence!
