Ficus Ruby Tineke - Rubber Plant

The Ficus Ruby Tineke, also known as the Rubber Plant, is a stunning variety prized for its striking foliage. Its large, glossy leaves are a deep burgundy color with pink veins, adding a touch of elegance to any indoor space. This plant is not only beautiful but also known for its air-purifying qualities, making it a popular choice for homes and offices alike. Light Needs: Place your Ficus Ruby Tineke in bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant coloration and promote healthy growth. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its leaves. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may lose some of its variegation. Water Needs: Water your Rubber Plant when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure thorough watering and allow excess water to drain away to prevent waterlogging, which can lead to root rot. In winter, reduce watering frequency as the plant's growth slows down. Humidity Needs: This plant thrives in moderate to high humidity levels. Mist the leaves regularly or place the pot on a tray filled with pebbles and water to increase humidity around the plant. Avoid placing it near drafts or heating/cooling vents.
