3" Anthurium Veitchii

Anthurium Veitchii 'King' is a stunning, tropical epiphyte renowned for its large, elongated, and beautifully ribbed dark green leaves that can reach impressive lengths. Often called the "King of Anthuriums," this species is prized for its striking foliage and unique appearance. The plant features a robust, upright growth habit and is a breathtaking addition to any tropical or indoor plant collection. Its dramatic leaves provide a lush, exotic aesthetic, making it a prized specimen among plant enthusiasts. Care & Growing Condition: Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. Water: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot. Humidity: Thrives in high humidity (around 60% or more). Consider using a humidifier or placing a pebble tray with water beneath the pot. Temperature: Ideal temperatures range from 65°F to 85°F (18°C to 29°C). Protect it from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes. Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, ideally formulated for aroids or orchids, which retains moisture but allows air circulation. Fertilization: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Repotting: Repot every couple of years or when it outgrows its container, preferably in the spring.
