4" Aglaonema Wishes

Aglaonema 'Wishes' is a popular houseplant known for its beautiful, variegated foliage featuring a vibrant mix of dark green, silver, and cream colors. The glossy leaves can grow up to 6 inches long and are often oval-shaped, giving the plant a full, lush appearance. This variety is not only visually striking but also highly adaptable, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced plant enthusiasts. Care & Growing Condition: Light: Aglaonema Red Zircon prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. Water: Water the plant when the top few inches of the soil feels dry to the touch. Ensure that the pot has good drainage, as Aglaonema does not like to sit in water. Overwatering can lead to root rot. Humidity: This plant enjoys higher humidity levels but can adapt to average indoor humidity. To increase humidity, you can mist the leaves or place a humidifier nearby. Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, preferably one formulated for houseplants. Fertilizer: Feed the Aglaonema Red Zircon with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding during the fall and winter months when growth slows. Repotting: Repot every 1-2 years or when the plant outgrows its pot. Use a well-draining potting mix, preferably one designed for houseplants. Pests/Diseases: Watch for common pests such as spider mites, aphids, and mealybugs. If infestations occur, treat the plant with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
