Oct. 9th: Intro to Sewing Workshop

In this 3.5 hour hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of machine sewing.  Topics covered include: Parts of a sewing machine Useful sewing tools Basic sewing vocabulary How to wind a bobbin How to thread a machine Straight stitching When and how to adjust stitch length By the end of this workshop, you will have a completed project to take home, and the confidence to use your sewing machine for sew much more! Machines and all supplies needed for class are provided.  Class is limited to eight students and open to children age 12 and up. Children under the age of 16 must have parental supervision during the class.  No refunds will be given for cancellations within two weeks of the class date.  Class will be rescheduled if minimum registration is not met.  Please note, workshop could run long depending on the pace of the class
