The foundation of electric guitar tone. Aurora 45 Pro is 3rd Power’s most complete expression of the American voice—expanded, refined, and extended into a more responsive instrument. It begins with the strength, clarity, and dimensionality of classic American amplification, then opens into a broader, more dynamic range that responds naturally to the player. This is not a reinterpretation of a vintage circuit. It is a forward platform—designed to deliver headroom, touch sensitivity, and harmonic depth with control that adapts across real-world performance environments. Voice & Expansion Built on a wide, articulate American clean foundation, Aurora 45 Pro opens into a more harmonically complex response as gain increases—introducing natural chime and texture beyond traditional American designs. This progression is continuous. The amplifier moves fluidly from clean to edge-of-breakup to fully driven tones while maintaining a consistent feel and connection under the hands. The result is an instrument that remains coherent across its full range—responsive, dimensional, and capable of covering a wide spectrum of musical applications without losing its core identity. Control Without Compromise Aurora 45 Pro provides meaningful control without unnecessary complexity. HybridMASTER™ volume and Venue Mode™ attenuation allow the amplifier to maintain its response and tonal integrity at any level. The goal is not more controls. The goal is access—clear, direct, and musical. A Modern American Platform Aurora 45 Pro is not built around fixed sounds. It is a platform that responds directly to the guitar, the player, and the environment—allowing tone to be shaped continuously rather than switched between. This creates a natural playing experience, where transitions feel fluid and the amplifier behaves as an extension of the instrument. Built for the Stage. Refined for the Studio. Aurora 45 Pro delivers the headroom, projection, and authority required for live performance, while maintaining the nuance, balance, and harmonic detail that define great recorded tones. Whether used as a primary platform or integrated into a larger system, it delivers a level of control, clarity, and responsiveness that defines modern amplifier design. FEATURES 45-watt professional amplifier platform American clean foundation with expanded harmonic range Natural progression from clean to driven tones HybridMASTER™ volume system Venue Mode™ attenuation High headroom with touch-sensitive response Designed for stage and studio environments Built for dynamic control and musical connection Build & Lead Time Each Aurora 45 Pro amplifier is built in small production runs using premium components and proven circuit design. Current lead time is approximately 10–12 weeks from order. They often deliver sooner as production allows, but this window ensures your amplifier is built, tested, and fully dialed before it ships. Ordering & Support Every 3rd Power amplifier is supported directly by their team. If you have questions about configuration, compatibility, or how a model fits your rig, they’re here to help you choose with confidence. Inside the Aurora 45 Pro ARCHITECTURE: A 45-watt platform built for headroom, authority, and control. Aurora 45 Pro is a fixed-bias, Class AB amplifier built around a pair of 6L6GC output tubes, delivering 45 watts of clean headroom with a wide, stable, and dynamically responsive platform. At its core, Aurora 45 Pro begins with the strength, openness, and dimensional feel of classic American amplification—then extends that foundation into a more controlled, more consistent response that holds together as the player pushes forward. CONTROLS & VOICE-SHAPING: One channel. Multiple ways to shape response. Core Controls: Hi and Low inputs provide different gain structures for a range of instruments, pickup outputs, and musical styles. Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, and Reverb form the central control layout, giving Aurora 45 Pro a straightforward foundation that stays precise, musical, and responsive under the hands. Shaping Tools: A 3-position Bright switch lets the player fine-tune high-frequency response with a neutral center setting, a down position optimized for single coils, and an up position voiced to enhance humbuckers. A Mid Voicing toggle provides selectable Mid Scoop or Mid Boost, while Venue Mode™ and HybridMASTER™ extend control into feel, output, and real-world usability. REVERB, TREMOLO & VOLUME MANAGEMENT: Shared ambience. Controlled output. Aurora 45 Pro includes a tube-driven large pan spring reverb and tube bias tremolo, giving the platform depth, movement, and time-based interaction built directly into the instrument. Dual-mode reverb allows for a global ambient field or tremolo-synchronized modulation, while Venue Mode™ attenuation and HybridMASTER™ volume management work together to preserve feel, response, and harmonic behavior as output is scaled to the room. The goal is not simply less volume. It is to keep the amp intact as the environment changes. CABINET & CONSTRUCTION: Built as an instrument, not just an enclosure. Aurora 45 Pro is available as a head or 1×12 combo, with each format designed to maintain the same response, feel, and tonal integrity. Cabinet construction and component selection are chosen for stability, resonance, and long-term reliability. Cabinet & Materials: Aurora enclosures are built from high-grade, void-free Italian poplar plywood, selected for its strength, consistency, and musical resonance. The result is a cabinet that remains lightweight while contributing to a more responsive and connected playing experience. Speaker & Format: The 1×12 combo is fitted with a WGS Retro-30 speaker, chosen for its balance of clarity, punch, and controlled low-end response. Head and combo formats share the same amplifier platform and tonal character. Build & Assembly: Each Aurora 45 Pro is hand-built in Minneapolis, Minnesota, using premium components and a construction approach designed for serviceability, consistency, and long-term performance. INCLUDED / AVAILABILITY: Standard configuration, finish, and ordering notes. Standard Configuration: Aurora 45 Pro ships with 2 × 6L6GC output tubes, a tube-driven large pan spring reverb, tube bias tremolo, Venue Mode™ attenuation, HybridMASTER™ volume management, and a tube-buffered FX loop.
