Transform your vehicle or mobile build with 3M™ Thinsulate™ SM600L, the gold standard in high-performance thermo-acoustic insulation. Engineered specifically to tackle unwanted road noise and thermal transfer, this heavy-duty, premium-grade material is the go-to choice for professional van builders, automotive restorers, and DIY camper conversions alike. Key Features & Benefits Superior Acoustic Attenuation: As the thickest and most absorbent option in the SM series, SM600L utilizes a dense matrix of microfibers to efficiently absorb high- and mid-frequency road, engine, and environmental noise. Advanced Thermal Control: Delivers exceptional R-value performance, keeping your cabin warmer during freezing winter nights and cooler under blazing summer heat. Moisture & Mold Resistant: Built with hydrophobic polypropylene fibers that do not absorb water, drastically reducing the risk of condensation buildup, mold, mildew, and musty odors. Lightweight & Compressible: Maximizes energy efficiency and payload capacity without adding dead weight. It easily conforms to complex, irregular surfaces, ribs, and cavities. Protected with Durable Scrim: Features a single-sided black polyolefin (non-woven) protective scrim that enhances durability and makes handling and installation cleaner and easier. Safety Compliant: Certified self-extinguishing and fully compliant with FMVSS 302 (SAE J369) automotive fire safety standards.
