39M Csaba

The 39M Csaba was a Hungarian armored reconnaissance car used during World War II. Designed for mobility and observation, it featured a 20 mm cannon and a coaxial machine gun mounted in a fully rotating turret. Built with a 6-wheeled configuration and thin armor, the Csaba prioritized speed and agility over heavy protection. It served mainly with Hungarian forces on the Eastern Front, performing scouting, liaison, and anti-partisan roles. Its distinctive design and limited production make it a unique example of interwar Central European armored vehicle development.
