Thermal Thimbles are heat resistant finger protectors designed to fit the index finger or thumb of either hand while ironing. Each package has 3 sizes included for your best fit. Use caution when using steam. They are not intended for use with sharp objects, but I do wear them to protect my fingertips from the point of the needle when I am hand sewing. They won't completely stop the point of the needle, but they help. And they are really good needle grabbers! I use them on whichever finger seems right at the time.
