37 Below Zero

A bull bison, covered in thick frost, stands patiently waiting for the sun on a morning when the temperature fell to 37 below zero. Protected by heavy fur in the prime of his life, his gaze is calm and he's well equipped to handle this weather. Still, I cannot help but imagine he will be grateful for spring.  This is an amazingly detailed photo which, even at its largest size, retains remarkable resolution. Every hair is perfectly etched in frost. It's available in several different sizes and on different media. Each size is limited to 11 copies, comes signed and numbered, and ships free to all lower 48 states.
