Circle Side Table

The Circle Side Table, designed by Henrik Pedersen of 365° North for Wendelbo, creates a captivating visual illusion through its masterful material contrast and architectural precision. This sophisticated accent piece features a sumptuous marble top that appears to float weightlessly above its meticulously crafted metal framework. Standing at 18.9 inches tall with a 19.69-inch diameter surface, the Circle Side Table strikes the perfect balance between substantial presence and spatial efficiency. The carefully calibrated proportions make it equally effective as a distinguished side table alongside seating or as a standalone accent piece that commands attention without overwhelming the surrounding space. What elevates this design beyond conventional side tables is the compelling tension between its robust marble surface and the slender supporting structure. Available in either dramatic Nero Marquina marble or rich Dark Emperador marble, the circular top introduces organic patterns and luxurious texture. This natural element is suspended within either a black burnished steel or brass frame that provides both visual lightness and exceptional stability. Pedersen's background in fashion design and mathematics is evident in the table's precise geometric composition and thoughtful material pairings. The circular form creates an inviting contrast to the angular base, while the substantial weight of the marble appears to defy gravity through the minimal supporting framework—a testament to both aesthetic vision and engineering expertise. The Circle Side Table exemplifies Wendelbo's commitment to creating distinctive pieces that combine visual impact with practical functionality, making it a versatile addition to contemporary living spaces, upscale hospitality environments, or executive offices where refined material selection and thoughtful design are paramount.
