36" Chainsaw Chain 3/8 050

Overview STIHL RAPID Super 36" Chainsaw Chain (79571131903) is designed for chainsaw cutting applications requiring high-speed, aggressive performance in hard or frozen wood conditions. Specification Detail MPN 79571131903 Brand STIHL Bar Length 36 inches Pitch 3/8" Gauge .050" Drive Links 66 Chain Type Full-Chisel (RAPID Super / RS) Category Chainsaw Chain Technical Features Full-chisel cutter geometry — razor-edged, square-cornered cutter shape minimizes chain friction, producing a smooth and clean cut in hard or frozen wood. Optimized cutter and tie strap design — engineered to reduce vibration levels significantly during operation, decreasing operator fatigue on extended cuts. Faster cutting speed than RM (RAPID Micro) chain — the RS designation indicates an aggressive cutting rate, maximizing productivity in demanding timber conditions. Excellent plunge-cutting efficiency — cutter profile supports both standard crosscutting and plunge-cutting techniques, expanding operational versatility. 66 drive links — provides the correct chain length for compatible 36" guide bars with .050" gauge and 3/8" pitch specifications. Applications High-volume felling and bucking of hardwood timber where cutting speed is the priority. Cutting frozen or particularly dense wood where a full-chisel edge maintains aggressive material removal. Plunge-cutting operations requiring a chain profile capable of bore-cutting entry. Professional forestry and land-clearing work on saws fitted with 36" bars using 3/8" pitch, .050" gauge drive systems. Maintenance Note: RS (RAPID Super) chain delivers superior cutting performance but requires careful, precise sharpening and regular maintenance to sustain optimal cutting efficiency. Full-chisel cutters are more sensitive to dirt and debris than semi-chisel profiles; use in clean wood conditions where possible and inspect the chain frequently for cutter wear.
