32″ Portofino Black Downdraft Induction Cooktop

The Futuro Futuro 32 inch Portofino Hub in black glass is a luxury induction cooktop with a built-in downdraft range hood for high-end home kitchens that refuse to choose between culinary precision and a clear architectural line. Cooking and ventilation share one premium surface, so the room reads open, intentional, and collector-quality from the first glance across the island. One surface for cooking and clean air A slim central downdraft intake sits between the induction zones, pulling steam and odor at the pan instead of waiting for an overhead canopy. That geometry keeps sightlines open across an island or open plan and lets the black ceramic glass read as furniture, not as equipment piled above the counter. When the glass flap opens, capture begins at once; when it closes, the intake is protected and the top stays refined for guests who never need to see a hanging hood. Designers specify this Portofino Hub when the elevation must stay calm: no chimney stack, no canopy shadow, only a continuous black glass plane with a quiet vertical intake. Homeowners feel the benefit each evening as conversation carries across the room while pans work hard and the air stays clear above the counter. Intelligent ventilation that follows the pan The integrated downdraft adjusts suction as cooking intensity rises and falls, so air care stays matched to the moment without constant fiddling at a separate hood remote. Delayed shut-off continues clearing the room after burners rest, and maintenance reminders signal when grease filters need attention before performance drifts. Dishwasher-friendly filters and drip tray, plus a water-resistant motor with a drain path, keep daily living uncompromising rather than fussy after a seared dinner. Nine speeds plus booster on the ventilation side give refined control from gentle simmer evenings to lively multi-burner nights. Whisper-quiet tangential blower engineering keeps the luxury 0.5 to 3.2 sones band present in the room as soft presence, not roar, while airflow headroom from 150 to 940 CFM stands ready when the menu turns assertive. Induction features for serious home cooking Bridgeable zones join adjacent areas for larger cookware and specialty pans, while booster heat delivers a short surge when water must climb quickly before settling to a chosen level. Permanent pot detection and safety shutoff protect empty zones, residual heat indicators warn while glass stays warm, and warming mode holds finished dishes until the table is ready. Key lock, child lock, chef cook presets, automatic heat-up, and an autonomous timer keep the optical touch panel calm under pressure for premium cooks who want precision without clutter. Quiet dinners with a whisper-quiet tangential blower in the luxury 0.5 to 3.2 sones band Headroom from 150 to 940 CFM when the menu turns lively Designer-grade black glass presence without an overhead hood canopy Ducted or ductless install paths for remodel freedom in US and Canada homes Ducted or ductless, flush or set-in Run the Portofino Hub ducted outdoors when the build allows for classic exhaust performance, or ductless with filtration when an exterior chase is impractical in a condo, historic home, or island without a ready path. Flush filotop seating or a more conventional set-in install both keep the premium black glass aligned with contemporary cabinetry so the counter reads intentional. Compact motor placement under the flap preserves storage below the counter so the kitchen stays useful as well as beautiful for investment-grade remodels. Italian craft for daily life Made in Italy for US and Canada homes, this high-end hub pairs artisan-crafted presence with refined controls that stay out of the way while you cook.
