An exceptional black marble saber tooth tiger by Dan Quam! This guy has a ferocious expression with the mouth open and canines in full evidence! The oval mother-of-pearl and jet inlaid eyes create a nice contrast to the dark black marble. Then there is the tail that was cleverly carved so that the loop gets support from both ends! This is a relatively new piece for Dan Quam and we think it shows his wonderful progress over the years! Artist: Dan Quam, Deceased (signed) Size: 2-3-8 in. tall x 4-1/2 in. long x 1-1/2 in. wide #31614 - Zuni Fetishes
