#3 Weld-On Bundle

Weld On #3 - 4oz Can and Applicator Bottle Weld-On is a solvent cement formulated for cementing acrylic plastics to similar acrylic plastics.  It will also form strong bonds with other plastics such as styrene, butyrate, and polycarbonate.   The bond is affected by softening the surfaces to be joined and fuses them together.  An initial bond will be formed within only a few minutes and strength will continue to increase rapidly.  A full weld will be achieved after 24 hrs.  #3 Solvent Water like consistency, used with applicator bottle   Health & Safety Update Our new Weld-On formulas have been improved for safety while maintaining the strong, reliable bonding you expect. Old Weld-On: Contained methylene chloride and trichloroethylene, both linked to health and environmental risks when improperly used.  New Weld-On: Completely methylene chloride–free and trichloroethylene–free, making them much safer to handle. They are still solvent-based adhesives, so good ventilation and proper PPE are recommended, but the removal of these hazardous chemicals significantly reduces toxicity and regulatory concerns. This update means you get the same trusted performance — with a safer, more responsible formula. Technical Specifications Weld-On is a professional solvent cement that requires special attention when using.  It is important to use this product in conjunction with local building codes and standard shop safety methods.   Weld on #3 Vaporation: Weld-On #3 can be vulnerable to vaporation over time.  To avoid vaporation, simply store Weld-On #3 in a cool, dark location.
