Quick Facts Ideal size to cover a medium house in ideal climates 3 ton, 14.3 SEER2 heat pump condenser R32: Complies with Clean Air Act New Refrigerant Requirements Low sound output Fully charged for up to 15' of line set Factory-installed bi-flow filter drier 3 Ton The ACiQ AQ-GLZS4BA3610 heat pump has a capacity of 3 tons. In an ideal climate, this tonnage will normally cover up to a medium house. In some bundles, the air handler or coil associated with this condenser may be intentionally larger in tonnage to maintain the unit's overall efficiency. Please note that an indoor air handler or coil that is compatible with heat pumps is required for this unit to function. 14.3 SEER2 At 14.3 SEER2, the AQ-GLZS4BA3610 heat pump condenser has the industry-standard minimum, allowing the unit to remain inexpensive upfront in comparison to higher SEER2 ratings. If you are replacing an existing heat pump, in most cases this SEER2 rating will still be higher than your old unit, allowing it to still save you money over time in energy bills. Warranty The AQ-GLZS4BA3610 condenser comes with ACiQ's standard 10 year parts warranty with online registration through the manufacturer. An installation that follows your state and local codes is required for the warranty to be upheld. Durability and Reliability The ACiQ AQ-GLZS4BA3610 heat pump condenser is manufactured with a durable cabinet with paint that is approved for 500 hours of salt spray, making it compliant with the 2010 Florida building code unit integrity requirements for hurricane-like weather when properly anchored to your local codes. The built-in bi-flow liquids line filter drier protects the unit from impurities in the refrigerant and other general wear and tear, increasing the reliability of the unit. Installation and Maintenance The ACiQ AQ-GLZS4BA3610 has easily accessible gauge ports and service valves with sweat connections, allowing for a faster and easier installation process. There are factory-installed features such as a filter drier, compressor crankcase heater, pressure switches, and a high-capacity muffler so your installer doesn't have to, further providing ease to the installation process. Moreover, the cabinet of the unit is fit with two maintenance access panels: one on the top and one on the side. All of these features lower your installation and maintenance costs, keeping more money in your pocket to spend on the things you care about most. Comfort in Mind With its sound control top insulation and SmartShift technology for quiet and reliable defrost cycles, the AQ-GLZS4BA3610 heat pump has some of the lowest sound outputs on a single stage unit on the market today. Disclaimer: This condenser contains R32 refrigerant, classified as an A2L refrigerant, and requires a refrigerant leakage detection system to be installed. To comply with safety standards, this unit must be paired with an R32 air handler or evaporator coil already equipped with a leakage detection system. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in safety hazards and could void the warranty.   3 Ton Multi-Positional Air Handler - R32 Overview The ACiQ AQ-AMST36CU1300 air handler is designed with an energy-saving, direct drive ECM blower motor and durable cabinet with multiple features that provide an easy installation. With this model, ACiQ upholds its goals to bring efficiency and enhanced comfort to a cost-effective solution. Quick Facts 3 ton air handler Electric heat compatible Optimized for use with R32 refrigerant Multi-speed, direct drive ECM blower motor Multi-positional (upflow, downflow, or horizontal) 3 Tons The ACiQ AQ-AMST36CU1300 air handler is rated for an output of 3 tons. In many cases, the tonnage of the air handler will be larger than the condenser that it is naturally paired with. This is intentional, and is to maintain the overall efficiency of the unit. While the unit does require a condenser to function as part of a heat pump or air conditioner, heat strips may be installed in the air handler to provide straight electric heating, which can be used as an electric furnace on its own or as a backup heat option for a heat pump setup. Warranty The AQ-AMST36CU1300 comes with ACiQ standard 10 year parts warranty when registered online through the manufacturer. Please note that in order for the warranty to be upheld, the installation must be compliant to all related local and state codes, as well as the unit must be paired with an approved condenser. Durability and Reliability With its heavy-gauge cabinet structure and its all-aluminum evaporator to prevent general wear-and-tear, the ACiQ AQ-AMST36CU1300 air handler is durable in design, making it a reliable solution for your home. Installation and Maintenance The ACiQ AQ-AMST36CU1300 utilizes SmartFrame technology in its sub-structure. This, along with special mounting features on the cabinet, allows for the unit to be easily installed almost anywhere it fits, as it is multi-positional in that it can be installed in the upflow, downflow, or horizontal orientations. For easier maintenance, there are two panels on the front to access vital areas on the air handler. Enhanced Comfort The AQ-AMST36CU1300 air handler lives up to ACiQ comfort expectations with its multi-speed ECM motor, which provides a more precise and efficient temperature control.
