JHS 3 Series Glitch Delay

The 3 Series Glitch Delay takes a familiar effect and pushes it into wonderfully unpredictable territory. Inspired by the time-warping sounds of the legendary Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler and the atmospheric delay work of Bill Frisell, it combines warm, musical repeats with a unique randomized glitch engine that bends and reshapes delay trails in real time. The result is a delay that feels alive and constantly evolving, capable of everything from subtle ambience to beautifully fractured textures. At its heart, the Glitch Delay is a highly usable delay pedal. The Time control covers everything from tight slapback echoes to spacious ambient repeats, while Repeats adjusts the amount of feedback and introduces increasingly rich modulation as it climbs. An internal limiter keeps the feedback musical and controlled, allowing repeats to linger indefinitely without spiraling into runaway oscillation. With the Glitch control turned all the way down, the pedal delivers warm, straightforward delay tones that fit comfortably into virtually any rig. As the Glitch control is increased, the pedal begins introducing randomized playback-speed changes within the delay's feedback loop. Rather than altering your core delay time, these glitch events bend, drag, and smear the repeats themselves, creating shifting textures that remain rhythmically grounded. The accompanying LED flashes with each event, providing a visual cue as the delay drifts between stability and controlled chaos. Like the rest of the 3 Series lineup, the Glitch Delay is built in Kansas City, Missouri with quality components and a straightforward interface that encourages experimentation. Whether you're after classic echo sounds, ambient soundscapes, or unpredictable textures that seem to evolve on their own, the 3 Series Glitch Delay delivers a remarkably wide range of inspiring sounds in a simple, affordable package.
