The pipe line can be pressurized immediately after install. Fittings rotate easily after installation, too, unlike standard glue fittings. A stainless steel retainer ring works to create a permanent hold - this isn't a temporary fitting. Great for repairs, because you can install while wet, without emptying water from trenches.
