2×2 Ground Thawing Heated Blankets

With a higher watt density and hotter temperatures than standard concrete curing blankets, these blankets provide uniform heat distribution without any cold spots. The 2×2 ground thawing heated blanket is ideal for construction sites, home projects, and other areas where you need to quickly thaw frozen ground or surfaces. This ground thawing blanket is a maintenance-free solution that saves you time and money by reducing downtime during cold weather. It heats to a preset of 150°F ± 10°F / 65°C ± 5°C, making it perfect for melting snow and ice on roofs, walkways, and construction areas. When used with a thermostatic controller, it offers even greater heat control for various thawing applications. Thermal Rating Classes: 2’x2’ ground thawing heated blankets come in two different thermal rating classes:  Powerblanket: Designed for standard heating applications, it safely raises material temperatures up to 145°F and operates in temperatures as low as -20°F. Powerblanket Xtreme: Built for harsh climates, it safely heats materials up to 145°F and functions in temperatures as low as -58°F. Additionally, all of our ground thawing blankets feature an insulated, water-resistant design, making them durable and safe for outdoor use. Plus, Powerblanket products are ETL certified to UL and CSA safety standards.
