A spacious aquarium of at least 50 gallons is recommended (equivalent to about 4 feet long, 1.5 feet wide, and 2 feet tall), providing plenty of rocks and caves for shelter and spawning. In captivity, they enjoy a diet of Cyclops, Daphnia, and Mysis, ensuring their nutritional needs are met. Unique Traits of the Maingano Cichlid: Mesmerizing Color Transformation: One of the most captivating aspects of Maingano Cichlids is the remarkable color transformation males undergo during breeding.
