27 Watt 120-277V E26 Medium Base LED Turtle Friendly Corn Cob Amber 1600K

SATCO|NUVO's Hi-Pro Amber Lamps are designed to provide wildlife-safe illumination in coastal and environmentally sensitive areas. Emitting a dedicated 585nm wavelength and a warm 1600K amber glow, these lamps minimize blue light emissions that can disrupt sea turtles and other nocturnal wildlife. Ideal for use around beachfront properties, marinas, docks, and piers, they offer reliable, energy-efficient performance in outdoor settings where responsible lighting is required. Available in 9W, 27W, and 50W models with E26 or EX39 bases, these corn cob-style lamps deliver versatile installation options for a range of applications. Built for durability, each lamp is IP64 and IK06 rated, damp location rated, and approved for use in enclosed fixtures. With a long 50,000-hour rated life and a 5-year warranty, SATCO|NUVO Hi-Pro Amber Lamps offer a dependable, eco-conscious lighting solution that prioritizes wildlife protection without compromising performance. This 27-watt lamp (Satco #S13138) operates on 120V–277V input with an E26 medium base, making it compatible with a wide range of standard fixtures. The corncob lamp shape delivers a broad 300° beam angle with a clear lens, providing omnidirectional amber illumination. It produces up to 2,000 lumens at an efficacy of up to 74 lumens per watt, with a CRI of 13 — characteristic of narrow-spectrum amber light optimized for wildlife safety rather than color rendering. The 585-nanometer wavelength ensures 0% blue light output, the critical factor in minimizing disruption to sea turtles and other nocturnal wildlife. Built for demanding coastal environments, the aluminum and plastic construction carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and an IK06 impact rating for added durability. The lamp is rated for damp locations, approved for use in enclosed fixtures, and operates in universal mounting positions. An impressive ambient operating temperature range of -40°C (-40°F) to +60°C (+140°F) ensures reliable year-round performance in extreme climates. A 4kV surge protection rating further safeguards the lamp against electrical spikes common in outdoor installations. With a 50,000-hour functional life and a 5-year warranty, the Hi-Pro Amber Corn Cob lamp is an ideal long-term lighting solution for coastal homes and hotels, boardwalks, piers, docks, and marinas where minimizing disruption to nocturnal wildlife is a priority. Please NOTE: When retrofitting LED to an HID fixture, the ballast must be by-passed or removed from the fixture. Additionally, by-passing the ballast will insure no RFI interference.
