Hatch Custom Rust Nipper 3

These Hatch Nippers are back and better than ever! "This is by far, the BEST nipper I have ever used! No matter if I am cutting 20lb fluorocarbon while chasing Permit, or 7x tippet when finessing dry flies to our local wild Brook Trout... these nippers never disappoint! NOW the nipper is even available in Purple... making this product even cooler!" Tony Gehman - President TCO Fly Fishing New Shape - The Nipper 3 now features a new ergonomic shape, crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum, protected with type II Anodize, and finished with a misted texture for ideal grip. This lends to a more natural feel and precise control in hand. Trim up those delicate 7x and heavier fluorocarbon tag ends with confidence. New Spring - We have designed a torsion spring specifically made for our application. This 302 stainless steel spring features a compact single wrap design to exert rotary force. We know what you're thinking...What does this mean? It’s badass and drastically improved the life expectancy over previous models. Cutters - Our tungsten carbide cutters have been and always will be the best on the market. We utilized decades of machining experience to create our custom cutting surfaces with an emphasis on abrasion resistance and reliable cuts through mono and fluorocarbon materials. The design has held up and proven itself since the original nippers were launched in 2016. The Nipper 3 also features a needle post sized for cleaning eyelets from your even your smallest flies. Every Hatch Nipper 3 comes with custom Hatch lanyard.
