Boy with Firefly Statue

Bring the enchantment of childhood to your lawn or flowerbeds, with the timeless appeal of our carved garden boy. He'll sit there quietly, legs crossed, waiting patiently for night to fall when the solar-powered firefly in his jar will begin to glow. A departure from standard cast cement figures, he crafted from polystone that's been cast in a rough-cut style to simulate real wood carving. The delightful statuary pays homage to those warm summer nights where we as children scoured our backyards excitedly anticipating the thrill of capturing Fireflies in Mason Jars. This sculpture is finished to look like carved wood with blinking lights that look like real fireflies! The solar rock stores up to 8 hours of sunlight. This classic Layhou Lam "Glimpses of God" statuary design was skillfully sculpted in appreciation of the simple, precious, delights of childhood.
