COBB Tuning Shift Plate - 2015-2021 Subaru WRX

The Short Shifter the Factory Should Have Installed The Cobb Short Shifter for the 2015-2021 Subaru WRX reduces the factory shifter throw and eliminates the vague, rubbery feel that Subaru manual transmissions are known for. The shorter throw means less hand movement between gears — quicker shifts, more precise gate selection, and a driving feel that matches the car's performance capability. Direct Replacement at the Factory Location The Cobb shifter component installs at the factory shifter location on the VA WRX without modification to the tunnel, console, or transmission. The hardware included in the kit covers the complete installation at the factory connection points. Part of the Cobb Drivetrain System This component is designed to work alongside the full Cobb drivetrain lineup — the Short Shifter, shift knob, bushing kit, and shifter plate are all available individually or as the Cobb Stage 1 or Stage 1+ Drivetrain Package. Running the complete package gives you a fully matched, cohesive shifter system. What's Included Cobb Short Shifter — 2015-2021 Subaru WRX About Cobb Tuning Cobb Tuning has been developing performance parts and tuning solutions for Subaru vehicles since 1999. Based in Austin, Texas, Cobb built their reputation on the Accessport — the most widely used Subaru ECU tuning device on the market — and expanded that into a full ecosystem of intake, exhaust, drivetrain, and engine bay accessories engineered specifically for the platforms they support. Every Cobb product is developed in-house and validated on their own test vehicles before it reaches customers. Subispeed carries the full Cobb catalog because their engineering standards and platform-specific development process consistently produce parts that work exactly as advertised.
