23Zero Kabari SuperFly Hybrid Lightweight Wedge Rooftop Tent

23Zero Kabari SuperFly Hybrid Lightweight Wedge Rooftop Tent 105 Pounds. 4-Season. Deploys in Minutes. 23Zero Kabari SuperFly. Lightweight wedge-style rooftop tent. ECO13B + LST fabric. Crossbars included. The 23Zero Kabari SuperFly is a premium lightweight wedge-style (clamshell) rooftop tent built for overlanders who prioritize low weight, low profile, and rapid deployment without sacrificing all-season performance. At just 105 lbs mounting weight, this is one of the lightest hardshell-style rooftop tents on the market. The semi-hardshell design pairs a durable waterproof PVC tonneau-style top with a lightweight aluminum frame, delivering the strength and weather protection of a hardshell at a fraction of the weight. The SuperFly is part of the trusted 23Zero Kabari family and sleeps two adults comfortably with 56 inches of interior headroom. ECO13B fabric with Light Suppression Technology (LST) keeps the sleeping area dark, cool, and private. Dual 5.5-inch heater/cooler ports (one on each side) integrate with portable AC or diesel heater systems. A USB-powered dimmable LED light bar, 2-inch foam mattress with condensation mat, six header gear pockets, dual boot bags, and included roof crossbars come standard. 4-season rated. 105 lbs Mounting Weight 56" Interior Height 4 Season Rated 2 Adults Capacity Sleeps Two. Weighs 105 Pounds. The sleeping area measures 46.5" W x 79.5" L with up to 56 inches of interior headroom at the peak, enough to sit upright and change clothes comfortably. A 2-inch foam mattress with a condensation mat beneath provides year-round comfort. The condensation mat manages moisture between the mattress and the tent floor so you do not wake up to a damp sleeping surface. At 105 lbs mounting weight, the SuperFly sits within the dynamic load capacity of most factory and aftermarket roof racks, opening it up to vehicles that cannot support heavier 150-200 lb hardshell tents. Semi-Hardshell. Crossbars Included. The SuperFly uses a PVC tonneau-style hardshell top paired with a rigid aluminum frame. This hybrid approach delivers the weather protection and low-profile transit shape of a full hardshell at significantly less weight. Two included roof crossbars (2" x 51" x 0.50") mount to the shell for carrying gear, a solar panel, or accessories on top of the closed tent. Four T-track eyelet bolts provide additional tie-down points. The closed profile is just 7.75 inches tall (including mounting rails, 6.25 inches without), keeping the tent low and aerodynamic on your rack. Foam Mattress with Condensation Mat The included 2-inch foam mattress sits on a condensation mat that manages moisture between the mattress and the aluminum base. This is critical for cold weather camping where temperature differences between the warm sleeping area and cold base create condensation. ECO13B fabric with Light Suppression Technology (LST) lines the tent body, keeping the interior darker and cooler by blocking heat and light penetration. The combination of the condensation mat, ECO13B fabric, and dual heater/cooler ports gives the SuperFly genuine 4-season capability despite its lightweight construction. Dual Heater/Cooler Ports Two 5.5-inch diameter ports (one on each side of the tent) integrate with portable AC units or diesel heater systems. Each port has a drawstring for hose routing and a zippered wiring access point above for running electrical cables. Having a port on each side gives you flexibility to position your heater or AC based on your camp layout and which side of the vehicle the unit is mounted on. When not in use, the ports seal closed to maintain weather protection. This is a feature typically found on tents that cost and weigh significantly more. More Features Organization: Six header gear pockets (13" x 10.5" each), including one clear tablet sleeve, keep phones, headlamps, books, glasses, and small gear organized and within reach. Dual boot bags keep muddy footwear out of the sleeping area. Everything has a dedicated home inside the tent. Weather-Ready Access: Large side windows (43" W x 38" L) and a rear door (31" W x 45" L) provide open-air ventilation or complete weather closure. Unzip for cross-ventilation and views on clear nights. Zip up completely for total protection in rain, wind, or cold. USB Dimmable LED Light Bar: A 25.5-inch dimmable LED light bar powered via USB provides flexible interior lighting. Dim for ambient light, brighten for reading or organizing gear, or turn off completely. No headlamps needed. Quick Setup and Teardown: The hinged clamshell frame with gas struts deploys and stows in minutes. Unlatch, push up, and the struts hold the tent open. Close it by pulling down and latching. The wedge-style design makes deployment faster and more intuitive than pop-up or dual-hinge tents. Pros 105 lbs mounting weight, one of the lightest hardshell-style rooftop tents on the market 56" interior headroom in a wedge design, enough to sit upright and change comfortably Dual 5.5" heater/cooler ports (one per side) for portable AC or diesel heater integration ECO13B + LST fabric for darker, cooler, more private sleeping conditions Crossbars (51"), ladder, LED light, condensation mat, and mounting hardware all included 7.75" closed height keeps the profile low and aerodynamic on the highway Six header gear pockets with tablet sleeve plus dual boot bags for organization Cons PVC tonneau-style shell is lighter but less impact-resistant than the full aluminum shell on the Kabari Z 2-person only with a 46.5" wide sleeping area. Tighter for two large adults compared to tents with 48"+ width No built-in power hub (USB-A, USB-C, 12V) like the Kabari Z. Only USB-powered LED lighting is included Frequently Asked Questions What makes the SuperFly lighter than other hardshell tents? The SuperFly uses a semi-hardshell design with a waterproof PVC tonneau-style top instead of a full aluminum shell. This hybrid approach delivers weather protection and a low-profile transit shape at significantly less weight. At 105 lbs, it weighs roughly half of full aluminum hardshell tents like the Kabari Z (204 lbs) while maintaining 4-season capability through ECO13B fabric and dual heater/cooler ports. What rack do I need for the SuperFly? You need a roof rack, bed rack, or crossbar system with a dynamic load rating of at least 105 lbs. The mounting footprint is 50.25" W x 86.5" L. At 105 lbs, the SuperFly fits within the capacity of most factory and aftermarket rack setups, including many that cannot support heavier 150-200+ lb hardshell tents. It works with racks from Prinsu, Front Runner, Thule, Yakima, Rhino-Rack, and others. Call us at 844-200-3979 to confirm compatibility. Can I run a heater or AC in the SuperFly? Yes. Two 5.5-inch diameter heater/cooler ports (one on each side) accept hoses from portable AC units or diesel heater systems. Each port has a drawstring for routing the hose and a zippered access point above for running electrical cables. Having a port on each side gives you flexibility to position the unit on whichever side of your vehicle works best for your camp layout. Is the SuperFly good for cold weather? Yes. The SuperFly is 4-season rated. ECO13B fabric with LST provides insulation and blocks heat/light. The condensation mat beneath the mattress manages moisture. Dual 5.5-inch heater/cooler ports let you run a diesel heater into the tent without cracking a window. Pair with a sleeping bag rated for your expected temperatures. For extreme cold weather camping where maximum insulation is critical, consider the heavier Kabari Z with its full aluminum shell and built-in power hub. Can I mount gear on top of the SuperFly when it is closed? Yes. Two included roof crossbars (2" x 51" x 0.50") mount to the shell with the included crossbar mounting plates. Use them to carry a solar panel, traction boards, or light cargo on top of the closed tent during transit. Four T-track eyelet bolts provide additional tie-down points for securing gear.
