It is not the refined feel of Dangerfield Serenity, the complete first-box experience of Lokko, or the pro build of Praxis. Why it makes sense Profiles, tension tools, and a case in one place The strength of this GOSO set is straightforward: a useful spread of working shapes, a handful of tensioners, and a zip case that keeps the kit together. The trade-off is feel. If you want cleaner feedback, better steel, and a set you will probably keep for years, move up to Serenity or Praxis. Budget vs better Choose GOSO for price. Choose Lokko, Serenity, or Praxis for the learning path. This page gets broad lock pick set searches, so here is the honest route. GOSO is useful when you want a cheap spread of profiles. It is not the set I would call the best first learning system, and it is not the set I would choose for long-term feedback. Set Best reason to buy it What you give up GOSO 23pc set Lowest-cost route with lots of shapes in a zip case. Less refined feel and finish than the Dangerfield sets. Lokko Beginners Box The complete first learning box: picks, tensioners, practice locks, covert kit, and guide. Costs more than the bare GOSO set because it includes the learning setup. Dangerfield Serenity Better 301 stainless feedback in a compact leather wallet. You will want practice locks or a guide beside it if you are brand new. Dangerfield Praxis Dual-gauge pro range for tighter and everyday keyways, built to keep. Overkill if you only want the cheapest taste of the hobby. What is inside Enough shapes to find your preferences You get 20 pick profiles across standard picks, rakes, and wafer rakes, plus 4 tension tools and a zip-up PU leather case. The practical benefit is range: you can test several shapes and learn which ones make sense in your hands. Once you know what you reach for most, add stronger individual hooks, dedicated tensioners, or a more refined set around those preferences. This GOSO kit gives you the first map. Buying note Choose it when range and price matter more than polish GOSO sits in the practical budget end of the LockPickWorld range. It is best understood as a broad practice kit: plenty of shapes to try, enough tensioners to get moving, and a case to keep everything together. Good for trying many pick shapes before specializing. Useful as a spare or loaner kit. Best paired with a clear or progressive practice lock so the feedback has somewhere useful to go.
