23234-C3 Spherical roller bearing C3

23234-C3 The 23234-C3 is a spherical roller bearing with a 170mm bore diameter from the 232 series, featuring C3 radial internal clearance for applications requiring greater than normal clearance. Spherical roller bearings use barrel-shaped rollers running on a spherical outer ring raceway, providing self-aligning capability to accommodate shaft deflection and misalignment. These bearings are commonly used in heavy industrial applications including mining equipment, paper mills, steel plants, and gearboxes where high radial loads, moderate thrust loads, and compensation for misalignment are required. The C3 clearance makes this bearing suitable for applications with thermal expansion, interference fits, or other conditions that reduce operating clearance.
