23028K Spherical roller bearing

23028K The 23028K is a spherical roller bearing from the 230 series, featuring a 140 mm tapered bore (1:12 taper) designed for secure mounting on tapered shafts or adapter sleeves. Spherical roller bearings utilize barrel-shaped rollers running on a spherical outer ring raceway, providing self-aligning capability to accommodate shaft deflection and misalignment. These bearings are commonly used in heavy industrial applications including mining equipment, paper mills, construction machinery, and gearboxes where high radial loads, moderate thrust loads, and misalignment compensation are required. The tapered bore design simplifies mounting and dismounting while enabling axial positioning adjustment.
