The DeWalt DW8357 Type 27 HP flap disc is designed for grinding, blending and surface preparation on metal materials. This high-performance flap disc features a 4-1/2-inch diameter, 5/8"-11 threaded arbor and 60-grit zirconia alumina abrasive. Heavy-duty zirconia grit helps deliver faster material removal compared with conventional fiber resin sanding discs, while premium abrasive cloth provides extended service life. The Type 27 fiberglass backing supports a grinding angle of 5 to 15 degrees for controlled grinding performance.
