The DeWalt DW4542 grinding wheel is designed for grinding metal and stainless steel. It features a 4-1/2-inch diameter, 1/4-inch thickness and a 5/8"-11 threaded arbor for compatible angle grinders. The Type 27 depressed-centre wheel uses 24-grit aluminum oxide abrasive and a softer formulation to support faster grinding in harder materials. Three full sheets of fibreglass reinforcement provide added durability and safety. Its maximum operating speed is 13,300 RPM.
