Denim Lapis Frog by Pete Gasper, Deceased and Dinah Gasper

A dynamite frog carved in denim lapis with a deep blue back end and a face that is a speckled gray and blue. There is a gold-lip-mother-of-pearl arrowhead, topped with two turquoise and one branch coral bead surrounded by pen shell heishi. The frog has red coral eyes inlaid to the rounded raised eye sockets with two coral breath holes - what the couple was known for. There is a signature tag by Dinah Gasper and the now deceased Peter Gasper - So there is a large G on the left side of the sterling silver medallion inlaid under the frog's face with a P on top of a line and a D under it.
