20×20 Pavilion Plan

This 20×20 King Post Truss Pavilion Plan is a medium-sized frame that has just the right  dimensions for a carport, workshop, or guest cabin. With only two bays, its 400 square feet  is completely open with no center post.  You’ll be proud to show off the spline joints, haunched king posts and pegged mortise and tenons to your friends and family. Truss and purlin system will make a beautiful ceiling in your finished frame.  Tie beams stand over 9’ tall, and the ceiling rises up from there to over 17 feet to the top of the kingpost.  Generous 2 food overhangs all around for protection from sun and precipitation. As soon as you make your purchase we will email you links to download the plan set PDFs. The 10 page construction set has all the information you need for a successful project.  We include  several 3D images of the frame, both constructed and disassembled. There are  post and roof plans, and section and detail drawings. The 12-page  piece drawing set has 2D and 3D drawings of all of the timbers, with each cut fully dimensioned.  And we include connector and timber lists so there is no guesswork in buying your materials.
