2027 Drifter Apex

The kite that defined a category. The Drifter has always been the go-to choice for riders looking for a no-compromise surf kite. Designed for performance surf and strapless freestyle, the Drifter boasts class-leading slack-line drift, fast, reactive steering, and predictable handling, allowing you to focus on the wave rather than the kite. Whether you're carving down the line, attacking the lip, or throwing strapless tricks, the Drifter delivers the confidence and control needed to take your riding to the next level. Built with Ultra HT Dacron, Teijin D2 canopy material, and the latest Airframe Inflation System, the Drifter offers a lightweight yet incredibly stable platform with smooth power delivery and responsive steering. The addition of the Vert-X Bridle provides even greater versatility, allowing riders to choose between the Unify High-Y or Low-V configuration to tailor the kite's handling characteristics to their personal preference. From clean point breaks to onshore wind swell, from kite foiling to strapless freestyle, the Drifter remains the ultimate choice for riders who demand uncompromising drift, precision, and control in every session.
