2026 Red Paddle Sport 11’3″ MSL

Progressive Performance Touring: Speed, Control, and Unmatched Durability The Red Paddle Co 11’3″ Sport MSL is affectionately known as the “drop-top roadster” of the inflatable SUP world. It is specifically engineered for ambitious or intermediate paddlers who want to progress from an all-around shape to something faster and more efficient, without inheriting the tippy, nervous feeling of a narrow race board. By pulling the width into a drawn-out, pointed nose and a sleek tail while retaining a comfortable 32″ waist, the 11’3″ Sport cleanly slices through the water. Every single stroke carries you further, letting you explore longer routes with far less effort. The Power of Genuine Fusion MSL® Construction Unlike standard single-layer or hand-glued boards that flex and warp under pressure, the MSL® (Monocoque Structural Laminate) process industrially fuses a second layer of high-density polymer directly to the drop-stitch core material. Built to Last: This eliminates gluing errors, cosmetic bubbling, and excess weight, leaving an ultra-smooth, remarkably durable exterior shell. Extreme Rigidity: This heavy-duty drop-stitch foundation easily handles internal pressures up to 22+ PSI, mimicking the rigid feel of a composite hardboard. Low Center of Gravity with Patented RSS Battens While budget brands make touring boards 6 inches thick just to keep them stiff (creating a “corky” ride that catches the wind), Red keeps the 11’3″ Sport at a low-profile 4.7″ (120mm) thickness. Siting closer to the waterline dramatically lowers your center of gravity, boosting your balance in choppy water or boat wakes. To ensure zero mid-board sagging, Red’s patented Rocker Stiffening System (RSS) uses two rigid battens that slide directly into external rail pockets, increasing overall board stiffness by up to 33%. Premium Design Features for 2026 Two Expressive Colorways: Express your style on the water with the iconic, bold Classic Blue or the vibrant, head-turning Special Edition Purple. Hard-Release Speed Tail: A sharp, rubberized release edge on the tail cleanly breaks water tension, eliminating the sticky suction drag common to standard round-tail inflatables. US Box Fin System: Includes a deep 9″ touring fin that slots easily into a universal box, providing tracking and allowing you to easily swap fins for shallow rivers or weeds. Premium Traction Deckpad: A diamond-cut, embossed EVA deckpad prevents foot fatigue over multi-mile coastal sessions. #gap-210780519 { padding-top: 30px; } MSL 11’3″ Sport MSL Specifications Feature Specification Length 11’3″ (343 cm) Width 32″ (81.3 cm) Thickness 4.7″ (120 mm) Board Weight  24.9 lbs (11.3 kg) Volume 258 Liters Max Rider Weight Up to 242 lbs (110 kg) Stiffening Tech RSS Rail Battens (Included) Fin Configuration Single US Box Touring Fin Warranty 5 Years (With online registration) #image_1802315801 { width: 100%; } Buyer’s Guide & FAQ How do I choose between the Blue and Purple options? The choice is purely down to your personal aesthetic! Both the Classic Blue and Special Edition Purple feature the exact same high-density MSL construction, 32″ performance width, RSS stiffening rail pockets, and premium touring accessory package. Why choose the standard MSL over the MSL 800 version? The classic MSL® construction on this 11’3″ Sport is built with a slightly heavier, dense drop-stitch core that excels at dampening water texture. If you frequently paddle in messy choppy water, ocean chop, or windy lakes, the structural weight of the classic MSL acts like a shock absorber, tracking cleanly through rough water with maximum stability and structural impact resistance.
