Last Winter in Yellowstone - 40" x 70" Original Oil Painting

About the Image Late Winter in Yellowstone was one of those memorable trips to Yellowstone that I take almost every year in March. March is great time to visit the park as everything is beginning to wake up but there is still much snow and the feel of winter before Spring is full stop. And the crowds are almost zero, so you can really take your time. I saw this seen on the far side of the Lamar Valley some years back and knew I wanted to paint it. To this day, it is one of my favorite pieces. ORIGINAL ART Wild Wings Originals are exquisite works of art created by Wild Wings artists. These original paintings are the inspiration for the published Limited-Edition Art releases. Originals were lovingly created with hundreds of hours of research and brushwork applied to each one. Each Wild Wings Original has its own story to tell - some created solely with acrylic or oil paints, while others were painted using mixed-media art techniques. A Wild Wings Original comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that includes an archival catalog number and authorized signature which certifies its status as a Wild Wings original work of art. A tamper-evident hologram and signature plaque are affixed to each original, and these marks of authenticity are exclusive to these unique works of art.
