Crafted as a one-time tribute wine, the 2023 Sierra Madre honors two remarkable women at the heart of our family’s story—our beloved matriarch, Genevieve Locke, and the next generation, Sierra Henson. This meaningful blend is a celebration of heritage, resilience, and the enduring connection between past and future on our family’s land. This fruit was harvested between our family welcoming Sierra and honored passing of our matriarch Genevieve.  A vibrant expression of our estate vineyard, this red blend of 65% Primitivo and 35% Barbera is bold yet graceful—just like the women who inspired it. With lifted aromas of cherry, plum, and spice, the wine unfolds with juicy red fruit, balanced acidity, and a smooth, elegant finish. It’s a wine meant to be shared, savored, and remembered. Sierra Madre represents more than just a vintage—it’s a story bottled. From the foothills we farm to the generations who carry us forward, this limited release is a heartfelt thank you to the roots we come from and the legacy we’re building.
