2023 Pajarito Carménère

Our 2023 Pajarito Carménère proves that Chile is the newest international hotspot on the wine scene. To match its rich and dark color, this wine provides intense aromas of ripe cherries, coffee, and pepper. On the palate, it offers delicious flavors of dark chocolate and plum jam, with a medium body and balanced finish. Produced by esteemed fifth-generation Chilean vineyard Cremaschi Furlotti, this wine combines an Italian heritage with state-of-the-art technology to produce a delicious Carménère. While the Carménère grape originated in France alongside the well-known Bordeaux varieties, it has since been established as one of Chile’s leading grape varietals due to the favorable climate and skill required in the winemaking process. We recommend pairing your Pajarito Carménère with meats such as pork, lamb, or chicken, though Carménère is known as a quite versatile wine due to its subtlety and unique, savory flavors.
