2023 CE24 Semi-Hollow

Condition Report This CE24 Semi-Hollow is in fantastic shape! It shows virtually no signs of use other than some light playwear from normal use--mostly just some pick marks on the top. It comes with its original gig bag, too!  A Semi-Hollow Heartthrob They say only fools fall in love, but if that's the case, we're a shop full of fools, because we're head-over-heels for the PRS CE 24 Semi-Hollow. It pairs the lush, atmospheric resonance of a semi-hollow with the snappy articulation of a bolt-on neck, and that mix is one intoxicating sonic cocktail. As a result, it's remarkably versatile, it speaks with an inspiring, fresh voice that stands out from the semi-hollow crowd and looks good doing it. Let's dive deeper and see why the CE 24 Semi-Hollow stole our hearts! Classic Tone with a Twist The magic of the CE 24 Semi-Hollow stems from the alchemy between its natural resonance and the spectacular 85/15 humbucking pickups, which are as powerful as they are versatile. Because of the precise build, these guitars ring out with a room-filling reverberance even when played acoustically. So, when you do plug in, it exhibits an acoustic guitar-esque touch-sensitivity, which makes for a remarkably dynamic, expressive experience right from the jump. The 85/15 pickups are a perfect pairing for this body configuration. They sit somewhere near the middle on a scale of vintage to modern, and they give you the best of both worlds. They have the sweetness of a vintage pickup, but they sound richer with deeper lows and sparklier high-end, and they have outstanding clarity, articulation and balance. So, you can really ladle on the gain without any mush or mud creeping in. It's the sort of humbucking sound that fits like a glove in almost any musical context except for polka, and it might even work there, too! Speaking of fitting in everywhere, the CE 24 Semi-Hollow also has a push/pull coil split, and the single-coil sounds are remarkable as well. The bridge pickup has lots of bite, quack and twang, the neck pickup is throaty and smooth, and the middle position jangles like nobody's business. When split, these pickups allow you to grab a lot of classic T- and S-style tones, making the CE 24 a remarkably versatile instrument. Feel Good Inc. On top of that, the CE 24 is a blast to play! The Patter Thin neck profile is a slim, fast delight, and the satin nitro finish on the back gives it the kind of feel demanding, discerning modern players crave. The fit and finish showcase that signature PRS precision, making for a supremely reliable, playable instrument. In other words, while it may be a studio monster, it's also capable of being your night-to-night workhorse. Play It Loud As you can see, we are utterly smitten with the CE 24 Semi-Hollow, and we have no doubt its marvelous tone, supreme versatility, and superior playability will steal your heart, too!
