2022 'Nolan Vineyard' Syrah

The 2022 ‘Nolan Vineyard’ Syrah is a bold yet refined expression of Alisos Canyon. Hand-harvested and fermented in small open-top tanks, the wine was aged for 16 months in French oak, with just 14% new barrels to frame the fruit while preserving vineyard character. Bright crimson in the glass, it opens with earthy aromas of leather, violets, ripe berries, and black olive. The palate is full-bodied and silky, showing layers of blackberry jam, espresso, licorice, and warm spice, all carried by rounded tannins and a long, savory finish.
