Graciano, a rare Spanish varietal, is prized for its deep color, floral aromatics, and vibrant acidity traditionally found in Rioja blends. In Santa Barbara’s Happy Canyon, warm days and cool evenings allow this grape to ripen fully while maintaining its natural freshness. Our 2022 Graciano, sourced from Vogelzang Vineyard in Santa Barbara's Happy Canyon, is an expressive red with layers of blackberry, dark cherry, and violet, accented by notes of black pepper, clove, and a touch of cinnamon. Fermented in small stainless steel tanks and aged for 18 months in 55% new and 45% neutral French oak puncheons, this wine has a rich texture and refined tannins. Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb, aged Manchego, or roasted mushrooms. Awarded 94 points by Meredith May, The Tasting Panel. Only 61 cases produced.
