Can-Am Commander Limit Straps | ZBroz Racing

Can-Am Commander Limit Straps by ZBroz Racing Protect your Can-Am Commander's CV joints, axles, and suspension components from over-extension damage with the ZBroz Commander Limit Strap Kit. Engineered for the Commander chassis (including XT-P, DPS, XT, and MAX trims), these heavy-duty straps cap shock droop precisely where it matters — preventing the driveline failures that follow when wheels hang into the air on jumps, ruts, and uneven terrain. Whether you're trail riding, hauling gear, or running aggressive desert sections, factory droop control alone isn't enough to protect the Commander's driveline. The ZBroz limit strap kit adds bolt-on, race-proven protection at a fraction of the cost of replacing torn boots or snapped axles. Key Features Military-Grade Triple-Stitched Webbing — built for high-impact durability Engineered for Commander Chassis — covers XT-P, DPS, XT, and MAX trims Direct Bolt-On Install — uses factory mount points, no fabrication required Prevents CV Joint, Axle, and Boot Damage from suspension over-extension Powder-Coated Billet Hardware — corrosion-resistant for any climate Race-Proven Construction — same build quality as ZBroz's professional racing strap kits Specifications Front + rear limit strap set Triple-stitched military-grade nylon webbing Billet aluminum mounting hardware, powder-coated Direct fit on factory Commander mount points Engineered for Commander chassis geometry across all trim levels Designed and manufactured by ZBroz Racing in the USA Fitment Can-Am Commander (2-seat): XT-P, DPS, XT trims Can-Am Commander MAX (4-seat): XT-P, DPS, XT trims Direct fit on factory mounting points Not compatible with Maverick, Maverick X3, or Defender platforms FAQ Will these fit my Maverick X3 or Defender? No — the Maverick X3 and Defender use different chassis architectures and mounting geometry. Use ZBroz's dedicated X3 or Defender limit strap kits for those vehicles. Will they fit all Commander trims (XT-P, DPS, XT)? Yes — the chassis architecture and mounting points are consistent across Commander trim levels. One kit covers XT-P, DPS, and XT. Will they fit the Commander MAX 4-seat? Yes — the MAX shares the same suspension geometry and mount points as the 2-seat Commander. One kit covers both body styles. Do I need limit straps on a Commander? If you push the Commander hard — trail running, jumps, uneven terrain, hauling at full droop — yes. CV joints over-extend at the same angle limits regardless of whether you're racing or trail riding. The straps stop droop just before that critical angle. Is installation DIY-friendly? Yes — typical install is 30-45 minutes with basic hand tools. Mounting points are stock locations; the kit includes all hardware. No drilling or fabrication required. Why ZBroz ZBroz's professional racing program built their limit strap technology in real desert competition. The same military-grade webbing and billet hardware used on their race trucks goes into every kit — because driveline protection matters whether you're racing or trail riding. CTA Don't wait for a torn CV boot or snapped axle to find out you needed limit straps. Add the ZBroz Commander Limit Strap Kit and protect your driveline. Order from Dunes 2 Dezert SXS.
