2020 Texas Gladiators (1982)

The year is 2020 and the earth is a skeletal wasteland, born from the hell-fire of a nuclear holocaust. A barbaric army of road warriors battle for total domination with their ultimate target being a towering, super-fuel refinery, bristling with enough precious power to enslave the energy depleted planet. But out from the atomic wreckage rises three invincible gladiators who are the last champions of civilization. They are unyielding in their moral code and willing to sacrifice their own lives so that the beleaguered many who can't fend for themselves will prevail. When they team up with a tribe of noble Native Americans, they charge on horseback in a rousing attack to challenge the evil regime and end the dark, imperial order. Joe D'Amato reunites with crew members from Endgame for this grizzly post-apocalyptic action flick with help from assistant director Michele Soavi (Dellamorte Dellamore).
