2004-2005 GMT Master II

This 2004-2005 Rolex GMT-Master II in stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, often referred to as a "Rolesor" model, is an iconic luxury watch that combines the functionality of a dual time zone feature with the sophistication of precious metal accents. This specific pre-owned piece is enhanced with aftermarket diamonds on the case and bracelet, adding a brilliant and luxurious twist to an already prestigious timepiece. The GMT-Master II was originally designed for international pilots, providing the wearer with the ability to track multiple time zones simultaneously through its distinctive 24-hour hand and rotating bezel. This 2004-2005 model, reference 16713, represents a classic era for the GMT-Master II, characterized by its combination of durability, aesthetic appeal, and technical capability. Crafted from a blend of Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold, this GMT-Master II exudes a timeless style, with the stainless steel providing durability and the yellow gold adding a luxurious warmth to the watch’s appearance. The case measures 40mm, a versatile size that wears comfortably on the wrist while still making a statement. With aftermarket diamonds set into both the case and bracelet, this particular model captures attention, adding an extra layer of sophistication and sparkle that transforms it into a true statement piece. At the heart of this GMT-Master II is Rolex’s Caliber 3185, a self-winding movement developed to support the watch’s dual time zone functionality. The Caliber 3185 allows the wearer to independently adjust the 24-hour GMT hand, providing a reliable and straightforward way to track a second time zone. It also features a quick-set date function, making adjustments easy and efficient. With a power reserve of approximately 48 hours, the movement is designed to keep precise time even after a day or two of rest. Additionally, the Caliber 3185 is equipped with Rolex's robust Paraflex shock absorbers and a durable, bidirectional self-winding rotor, ensuring stability and accuracy under various conditions. The bracelet, crafted in Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold, is fitted with flat three-piece links and enhanced with aftermarket diamonds that match those on the case, creating a cohesive and dazzling appearance. This design, originally developed for both comfort and durability, has since become synonymous with luxury, especially when set with diamonds. The bracelet also includes Rolex’s secure Oysterlock clasp, which prevents accidental opening, further emphasizing Rolex's focus on both style and practicality. A pre-owned 2004-2005 Rolex GMT-Master II with aftermarket diamonds combines the watch’s original purpose of practicality with a level of opulence that turns it into a one-of-a-kind piece. While the aftermarket diamonds mean the watch has been customized beyond its original Rolex specifications, the watch still embodies the prestigious qualities of the GMT-Master II line: durability, functionality, and timeless design. This model is perfect for collectors and wearers who value Rolex’s heritage and engineering but also appreciate a level of individual expression through its custom diamond-set details. Original Box and Papers are not included.
