2000 Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl Ring

2000 Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl XXXV Championship Ring - Player Issued The 2000 Baltimore Ravens produced one of the greatest defenses in NFL history. Their Super Bowl ring crafted in 14k gold with diamonds, and presented here in its original display box is one of the most coveted pieces of memorabilia a Baltimore sports fan can own. This player ring belonged to a Raven who played in all 16 games of the regular season, the playoffs and Super Bowl. The greatest defense in NFL history — by the numbers The 2000 Ravens set two NFL records that have never been threatened: fewest points allowed in a 16-game season (165, an average of just 10.3 per game) and fewest rushing yards allowed (970). They produced four regular season shutouts. Ray Lewis, the heart and soul of the defense, was named both the NFL Defensive Player of the Year and the Super Bowl MVP. Led by defensive coordinator Marvin Lewis, the unit ranked first in a half-dozen defensive categories simultaneously. Twenty-five years later, analysts still argue no defense has come close. ESPN called them the most statistically dominant defensive unit in the history of professional football. The road to Super Bowl XXXV was a wrecking ball. The Ravens went 12–4 in the regular season — going five consecutive games at one point without scoring an offensive touchdown, yet never losing, because their defense refused to allow it. In the playoffs they outscored opponents 47–16 across three games, holding Oakland — the league's top rushing offense — to just 24 rushing yards in the AFC Championship. At Super Bowl XXXV in Tampa, they dismantled the New York Giants 34–7 in what was one of the most lopsided championship performances in the game's history. Crafted in 14k gold with diamonds, this player-issued ring represents the pinnacle of one of the most celebrated defensive achievements in sports history. Super Bowl rings in player condition with their original display boxes are extraordinarily scarce — most rings and boxes are separated within years of being awarded, and to find both together from a team of this historical magnitude is an exceptional occurrence.
