20″ Beam Saw (3 phase with 58″ crosscut)

20″ Beam Saw (3 phase with 58″ crosscut) Industrial-Strength Power for High-Capacity Cutting Original Saw Company created the 20″ Beam Saw (3 phase with 58″ crosscut) for industrial environments that demand precision and high-volume output. Powered by a heavy-duty 7.5 HP TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled) motor, this model runs on a three-phase power supply. This provides maximum efficiency, consistent power delivery, and smoother operation, even during the most demanding cutting tasks. With a 58″ crosscut capacity and a 7″ depth of cut, this saw easily handles large materials. It also offers a 3 1/2″ depth of cut at a 45° bevel, making it a versatile solution for complex cutting applications. 20″ Beam Saws – Built for Durability and Longevity The 20″ Beam Saw weighs over 1,500 pounds and is constructed with industrial-grade materials that withstand continuous use in high-output manufacturing settings. Cast Iron and Cast Aluminum Components: Deliver exceptional durability and reduce vibration for consistent accuracy. Box Tubing Beam and Powder-Coated Steel Frame: Provides long-term structural stability and protection against wear and corrosion. Vibration-Control Platform: Minimizes movement to maintain cutting precision, even during extended use. Built to handle demanding workloads in multi-shift environments, the 20″ Beam Saw is a trusted choice for manufacturers requiring heavy-duty cutting capacity. Versatility of the 20″ Beam Saw for a Range of Industrial Applications Designed to cut a variety of materials, the 20″ Beam Saw serves multiple industries with precision and reliability: Curtain wall and panel fabrication Structural steel manufacturing Metal roofing and decking production Millwork and woodworking applications Canopy and frame construction Model and prototype development Flexible Feed System Options for Enhanced Control The 20″ Beam Saw offers adaptable feed system options to suit different production needs: Manual Chain Crank Crossfeed (Standard): Provides precise control over the carriage for accurate manual adjustments. Electronic Powered Cross Feed (Optional Upgrade): Automating the blade’s movement improves operational efficiency. The powered system smoothly advances the blade through the material and automatically returns it to the starting position. Controls are placed on a movable stand for easy access. These options provide the flexibility to meet both precision-focused manual work and high-volume automated production. Customizable Work Surface with Secure Clamping Options The saw’s extruded metal table with T-slots offers a sturdy platform for handling heavy materials. Various clamping configurations provide secure material positioning: Two-Front Pushing Pneumatic Clamping System: Reduces operator fatigue and simplifies repetitive cutting tasks. Four-Pneumatic Clamping System: Adds stability for larger or irregularly shaped materials. Six-Pneumatic Clamping System: Provides maximum material security for complex cutting operations. Add optional HDPE inserts to the table to create a smoother surface for handling smaller materials. Three-Phase Power and VFD for Superior Performance on a 20″ Beam Saw The 20″ Beam Saw features a 7.5 HP TEFC motor paired with advanced Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) technology for peak performance and durability. Three-Phase Power Advantage: Delivers consistent and stable power to reduce voltage fluctuations and enhance motor efficiency. Variable Frequency Drive (VFD): Controls blade speed for improved accuracy while minimizing mechanical stress. The VFD also provides a controlled blade stop within approximately 25 seconds after operation. The combination of three-phase power and VFD technology extends the lifespan of the motor and ensures smooth operation across diverse cutting tasks. Precision Blade Height Adjustment with Front Lower Elevation System The Front Lower Elevation System simplifies blade height adjustments through a conveniently positioned crank at the front of the saw frame. Operators can quickly and accurately modify the blade height to accommodate various cutting requirements. Expanded Cutting Capabilities with Upgrade Options The 20″ Beam Saw (3 phase with 58″ crosscut) tackles a wide range of cutting applications: Crosscuts: Up to 58″ on 3/4″ stock. Depth of Cut: Up to 7″ in a single pass. Bevel Cuts: Up to 3 1/2″ deep at a 45° angle. Dado Cutting (Optional): Add a dado blade to expand the saw’s functionality. Advanced Safety and Control Features Operator safety remains a top priority with the 20″ Beam Saw. Built-in safety features ensure safe and efficient operation: Full Upper and Lower Blade Guarding: Provides complete protection while maintaining a clear view of the cutting area. Emergency Stop (E-Stop): Allows for immediate shutdown to prevent accidents. Magnetic Starter with Low Voltage Controls: Prevents accidental start-ups after power interruptions, ensuring safe operation. These features offer operators peace of mind while maintaining smooth and secure operation.
