2 Pothos Variety Pack

Package Contents & Composition This package includes two (2) Pothos plants (Epipremnum aureum), representing assorted varieties. Each plant is established and currently housed in a 4-inch diameter nursery pot. The selection is curated to offer variety in foliage variegation, coloration, or leaf pattern. Specific varieties within each pack will differ, providing a distinct and complementary pairing. II. Key Product Characteristics Common Names: Frequently known as Pothos or Devil's Ivy. The botanical classification is Epipremnum aureum. Foliage: Features characteristic heart-shaped leaves. Depending on the cultivar, leaves may be solid green or exhibit variegation with shades of yellow, white, or cream. Growth Habit: Pothos plants exhibit a vining or trailing growth pattern. This makes them suitable for display in hanging baskets, on shelves where foliage can cascade, or for training onto trellises or other supports. Resilience & Adaptability: Renowned for their hardiness and ease of care, Pothos plants are highly adaptable to typical indoor environments and are often recommended for beginner plant enthusiasts. Air Purification: Widely recognized for its capacity to filter certain common indoor air pollutants. Propagation: Readily propagated from stem cuttings, which can be rooted in water or directly in potting medium. III. Recommended Care Guidelines Light: Adaptable to a spectrum of light conditions, from low to bright, indirect light. Foliage variegation may appear more pronounced when the plant is situated in brighter light. Direct, intense sunlight should be avoided as it can cause leaf scorch. Watering: Allow the top 1-2 inches of the soil to become dry to the touch between waterings. When watering, do so thoroughly, permitting excess water to drain from the pot. Pothos plants are tolerant of brief periods of under-watering but are susceptible to root rot if the soil remains consistently waterlogged. Soil: A standard, well-draining all-purpose potting mix is generally suitable. Temperature: Prefers average indoor room temperatures, typically ranging from 65°F to 85°F (18°C to 29°C). Protect from cold drafts and abrupt temperature changes. Humidity: Tolerates average household humidity levels. While they can benefit from higher humidity, it is not a critical requirement for their growth. Fertilizing: Pothos plants have minimal fertilizer needs. If desired, a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer, diluted to half the recommended strength, can be applied sparingly (e.g., once every 1-3 months) during the active growing season (spring and summer).
